Do black hipster/combat boots go with white skinny jeans?

Personally I don't think they go together, the combination makes me think of Hannah Montana or something. Unfortunately white skinny jeans generally don't look good. I think black combat boots look good worn with tights/stockings/leggings and then more feminine dress. For example a floral colourful girly dress with black tights and combat boots looks good because you are mixing sweet innocence with dark hard edge. But of course it all depends on your own personal style and what you want to portray though your clothing. Listen to yourself, if you think it looks good then do it! Just trust your instinct!
