Do vocational schools offer full time student status?

in order to keep my medical insurance, i have to be enrolled in school as a full time student..my dad wants me to go to kplasn college and tke their medical office specialist course..when i looked at their schedule,,k the course is 8 months but i am only taking one course at a time which is only 6 units..is this how it works..do students who go to a vocational school only tske one cl at a time...my dad also wanted me to go to heald college..is the situation the same for every vocational school i go to? i go to a community college..can someone kindly explain this to me..
