Does a Villanelle go gently into a fight or something else?

Not familiar with the form's rules of engagement, myself, though I have heard of it. Matters little; I write like it feels except for rare challenges! Still, must admmire someone who cares enough to find out, and to find out well enough to care when deployed! Your words are always graceful, even when their messafge isn't so much!
