If you're a guy, can you request a female TSA agent to "pat" you down when you opt out of the Full Body Scan?

Sure, you can make the request. They will not acknowledge it, however, as it is their SOP (standard operating procedure) to have same- TSA employees administer pat downs. No male employee should ever pat down a female penger and vice versa. Probably funny to you if you don't spend much time in an airport, bu I'm sure they hear that line all the time. Heck, I've heard people say it a couple times and I'm just a frequent flyer.
