Is LimeWire safe to use?

Limewire is completely unmoderated and not very safe for downloading programs, though music and video is safe as you cant get a virus from an mp3. You would be better off getting on a private bittorent tracker like what.cd or waffles.fm for software. The moderators on there ban people who upload any virus or malware pretty quick, keeping the community safe.
