Does anyone sense a big showdown of some sort heading humanity's way?

The middle is decayed and the inner parasites are taking advantage of the rot to fester and widen the wound. All the senses are being aulted by the world of humanity and as we shut down our senses to deal with the onslaught, we fail to protect that which sustains us. No doubt the feeling of doom is looming.
