these are pinch and pull type connectors ( cone with white rectangle in them ) apply some pressure on cone towards the filter then press the rectangle in when pressed in pull away from filter watch out for the fuel that come out both bits have a container ready either that or cut and add tubing and clips to the shortened pipes make a good job or loose fuel or even fail mot.

What Microphone to Use for Recording Electric guitar?

Ok, so I have a little, unprofessional home studio and I am using a 280 watt Mesa Boogie Triple Rectifier and a Gibson V guitar. I've been using Pro Tools LE 8 with an mbox mini 2 and an Audio Technica AT2020 Condenser Mic. The cleans that I record aren't bad, but all the distortion I use on my guitar (i play mostly rock and metal) and record sounds great to my ear with my awesome amp, but sounds really muddy and overall just crappy after recording...I think it's due to my $130 condenser mic trying to record an over $2000 half stack, does anybody have any advice to get a more professional sound with my guitar that's not too expensive (also, I record some vocals with the mic too...) Tuning guitar-all strings to D#?

There's this song I want to play that has the fifth string tuned to A#, and the rest of the strings tuned to D#. It's a high-pitched guitar part, which means (I ume) that in the case of the lower strings, E and such, it'll be nearly an octave higher. Anybody who has had a truly colicky baby will say it is real. I know my niece was colicky. Nothing was wrong with her, no reflux and she was a good eater but she would just scream and scream and scream. They ran tests and found nothing. The thing about colic is that it is a baby that isn't easy to comfort for whatever reason. Usually the washing machine spin cycle or the vacuum cleaner for whatever reason helps calm them down. It is just like with SIDS (unidentifiable deaths in an infant where they can find no known causes). It is a label just so they know something is going on but can't find out what.

Why won't my home telephone line work? Urgent!?

I'm writing about a fictional character and she has no common sense...?

She does stupid things without thinking through the possible repercussions of her actions and is easily impressionable as in easily convinced to do silly and sometimes dangerous things. I use this fictional character for comic relief in my stories but the more I write and talk about her the more I wonder if she might not be a little crazy or have some other disorder. Is this clified as a physiological/medical condition? I know there are bipolar people who are often impulsive but Olivia (the character to whom I'm referring) isn't like that. She just tries things she thinks will be fun and takes unnecessary risks. I've often described her as unbalanced. 4 month old still waking every 1 to 3 hours...?

I know bf babies wake more often but come on! It's been 4 months of waking for feedings every 2 hours or so. Once he slept for 6 hours. Once. So I know he is capable of sleeping longer. Is it going to be like this as long as he's fed? I don't expect him to sleep all night but I would be happy with even 4 hours at a time. I've tried giving him a pacifier, sometimes he takes it but it still requires me waking up every 1 to 3 hours. Any advice?

Why do I feel horrible about ?

I hate . I don't see it is a loving thing, I ociate it with being used. I don't understand how people can feel closer to someone because of it, I always feel further away. Feed/energy/ hard to explain in this little space...?

so heres the story. ive had my horse for about a month & a half. as of yesterday he weighed 1050 and id like him to be 1100. right now hes on purina strategy (6 lb per day) & pasture 24/7. he gets worked almost every day, not hard, but still a work out. he gets worked hard about once a week (2 hour lesson). when i went to see him my first time (deciding to buy) he was much lazier than he is now. now hes full of energy & life, which is fantastic, but in your opinion, is it a good idea to stay with purina strategy or should i switch to something that will put the weight on faster. i know the whole pasture board thing probably added to the change in attitude (he came from being stalled with one other horse in the barn, now hes in pasture 24/7 with 6 others) but is it necessary for him to be getting all this grain energy, or should i change to just help him put on the weight

You can buy, as disgusting as it sounds, suppositories for acetaminophen, or liquid if you can't tolerate swallowing pills. You should be taking no more than 1200 mg of motrin per day for the pain and swelling, however, you can take tylenol as well. Take motrin, then 2 hours later a dose of tylenol, then 6-8 hours after you took the motrin, you can take more motrin, and 2 hours again, later you can take more tylenol. Do not, of course, if you're doing the suppositories for tylenol. You don't want to OD on tylenol. Try making fruit and carrot juice smoothies with peanut er and frozen vanilla yogurt to drink in the meantime. It'll help you keep your strength up, and cool your throat. Get LOTS of sleep and lots of fluids.

imma freshman, i sat out a year because of hurricane katrina, and now my grades or terrible, it hard for me to even get up and got o cl cause i live so far from campus and its a long walk to the bus stop and the bus takes and hour or two to come, my mom doesn't understand and just thinks i'm lazy, my friends too, but i'm not. anyway i woul stay on campus but 1. i can't afford it, i already have $2,000 in loans i arather not have anymore, my questions is if they do tell me i can't come back next semester, can i enroll at community college and pull my grades up? even wit the loan? will the school tell me my grades are too low? will i be able to still get my grant from FAFSA too? or do you think the school i go now will let me come back, i'm really don't wanna go to summer school cause i ould use the summer and work to get a car, but i will if i have to, i don't wanna disappoint my mom but i don't think she understand how hard it is for me.

Having pets in college.. 2 dogs vs. 1?

So I've had my dog for a while, she's a 5 year old bernese mix. She has a rare type of cancer but it's been under control. For the last year while I was at college, a woman I know was babysitting her and she had 2 other dogs there and my dog really began to enjoy their company while the people were away. My predicament is, I know having a dog with cancer costs more and there's a higher risk of losing them sooner, but I've been looking at local rescues and emailing a few to see about large breed mixes they have. She's always loved tumbling and cuddling with other "big dumb mutts" (as my family calls her, lovingly) and although this semester won't be any busier, it will be different because she will be moving here with me into a pet-friendly apartment. They have wood floors, larger hallways, a dog park, dog baths in the laundry room, and even local hiking trails/fields nearby. I've had two dogs at once before but would this be too much for college? I'll have a roommate who loves dogs as well and would be able to help with the walking and attention giving, but since neither of them would be puppies do you guys think this would be ok? Two adult dogs left alone with toys and each other for 4-6 hours a day should be ok, right? I'd be sure to give them adequate walks before and after cl and I am a pre-vet student so although cles are hard, some of them (and my clubs) allow you to bring along pets if they're well mannered. What do you guys think?

Unfortunately, either way the American public wouldn't believe him. That's the state that we are in right now. Personally, I think what he meant by that statement was that we didn't find the large quantities that we expected to. Nothing we found was more than trace elements, which of course means there was more. It was all taken across the border to Iran and Syria. Anyone with common sense knows this. It's just that they have such hatred of a party or person that they can't see or admit to it. I'm quite sure it's the reason that Iran is taking the stand that they have. What doentation should I have been given regarding my son's 504 plan?

At this very time last year, I sent a letter to the school requesting a meeting to have my son with ADD evaluated for a 504 plan. We had the meeting...a psychologist from an outside source was there...some plans of action were made...Nothing that was discussed that day has been followed through with and my son will be attending summer school because 6wks before school was out the teachers informed me that he is failing 2 cles. I contacted the Department of Education to file a complaint and because I was never given any sort of doentation, I requested my son's records from the school. I was told that they do not have a 504 in place for him and that we have had a couple of care team meetings to discuss his complications...but nothing about pouting a 504 in place. I guess that explains why nothing was ever followed through with! What do I do now? After this meeting, I was not given doentation-but was also not told that my son did not qualify for help. The psychologist and teachers made a list of accommodations that would benefit my son...so I guess like an idiot I thought that is what would happen.

ok, so ive tried taking the all natural ones from walmart, one a days, the ones the doc prescribed, and Flintstones. and they all make me extremely sick. my diet isnt as good as it should be either. since ive become pregnant, the taste of fruits make me gag. i had a professional nutritionist come over for a few hours, and she showed me how to make "yummy" shakes out of fruits and veggies...every combo ive tried makes me gag. ive also become EXTREMELY lactose intolerant during this pregnancy...i tried drinking milk last week..and it made me sooooo sick. im not supposed to eat red meats right now, or salty items because im having weird blood pressure patterns, and my doc does not want to put me on medication for it until necessary. the doctor said that i should be fine with this diet until im 20wks, then i need to try the prenatals again. well im 20 wks now...and no change. everything makes me sick. can this hurt my baby? im very worried about it. i feel him kick and move around, so i know hes ok...but im worried about his growth/health. anyone have this problem? please dont say "go to the doc" because i have, and she sorta brushes me off, or tells me to "refer to you baby books" or some crap.

How do I stop my boxer/husky mix from chewing my things while running circles around me and snarling?

I recently adopted a 1 yr old boxer/husky mix. He is a huge handful but I expected that for a "teenager" who's been in shelters since he was just a couple months old. The main issues right now are the facts that constantly all day long he will walk around looking for something he's not supposed to have. He then snatches it, looks at me and starts running back and forth and in circles like a lunatic while he destroys it, snarling and snapping at me when I try to get near him to take it away. Even if I do manage to get ahold of him, he will not let the thing go, by the time I get whatever it is, it is decimated. He does this at LEAST 5 times a day. He has plenty of his own toys and I walk him at least 2-3 times a day. He also bites...not aggressively, but if he gets overexcited, which is often, or when you touch him when he doesn't want you to, he'll nip you, and also tries to mouth on you in general. Oh, and also he humps everyone except (usually) me, especially my husband, and he bites during that too, again not really too hard, but it's a bit unnerving. It's also extremely difficult to get him off someone once he gets those boxer front legs and paws wrapped around them, and he will keep going back and back, getting more frenzied until I physically separate him from the person, put him in another room and make him stay until he's laying down and calm. Help!

"In" versus "of" when talking about progress?

This maybe overly technical, but that is just the way I am. I am writing a paper for my history cl and I am trying to determine the proper pronoun to use. I want to say "The radical progression in/of western civilization led to..." I am far from a grammarian, so my understanding of the subject is not that extensive. However, after yzing it, the only real difference I can determine between these two pronouns, in this specific case, is that "in" gives a internal connotation and "of" gives more of an external one. If that is true, then I guess the next question becomes whether progress is internal or external. Or is it dependent on the context? For example, the phrase “the progression OF the man" is external and implies physical movement towards a goal, where as the phrase "the progression IN the man" is internal and implies some sort of spiritual or mental development. So, in this case, is a civilizations progress external or internal? After writing all this I am leaning towards internal, since the society didn't physically move, but is physically moving the only way progress is external?

I found a stray kitten on the street yesterday. He is an orphan, I am 100% sure. He is bony and his stomach appears bloated. When I picked him up off the street, he was aggressive and bit and scratched for his life, but I managed to carry him home. He is now in my room and continues to hide in every imaginable space here. I have no other room for him, so keeping him elsewhere is not an option. However, this kitten was so aggressive when I first met him. Now, he allows people to pick him up and pet him, but he doesn't seem to enjoy it. He just sits down while being held and tolerates the petting and talking. As soon as he is put down, he sneaks slowly off before dashing for a hiding place. He is so different than any other cat; he hasn't meowed once, he doesn't show affection, he doesn't show signs of wanting food/begging for food (but he does eat, he just won't meow or come out for it), and he doesn't play. He absolutely will not play with any cat toy or any string or anything for that matter, even if it smells of tuna or some other treat. He will stare at the object and then look away, unconcerned. I have a bad feeling that there is something wrong with this 5-7 week old kitten, because of his attitude and his bloated belly and bony frame. Why are my surface piercings bleeding...again?

So a few months ago, I got the sternum pierced....no problem whatsoever. Healed wonderfully. Then a few weeks ago, I went back to get the surface collar bones pierced. There was hardly any bleeding at all and they seemed to be healing up nicely. Then a few days ago they just started randomly bleeding again. I have been using the H2Ocean stuff on a daily basis. Why does my French Bulldog sometimes collapse with momentary paralysis?

Sometimes for no apparent reason my dog will just collapse and not be able to move for a few moments. He just goes limp, and sometimes he'll urinate as if he can't control himself, but I'll pick him up and put him back on his legs, he'll be a little shaky at first, but then pretty much back to normal walking around as if nothing has happened. If I left him alone, I'm sure he'd probably be able to move around again on his own, but it's scary for both of us, so i try to get him back on his feet as quickly as possible. He's a little over four years old, not overweight at all, and he's never had any major health problems. I've read French Bulldogs could sometimes have problems with their backs, and it's only started to happen in the last week, at least three times. He used to get sore if he was having a hyper day and did a lot of jumping on and off the sofa over and over. The next day he would move really carefully just like a person would the day after doing some activity that's more strenuous than they're normally used to. But he's never collapsed with momentary paralysis. It almost seems like it happens right after he's made a sudden movement after not moving for awhile? Goes totally limp, then everything is fine. He's got me worried. Does this sound familiar to anyone?

Individuals are selling drugs to get money and getting involved with prostitution. Numerous of people are depressed and committing suicide. Some feel like there is no other way to survive without finances and job, which contributes to socials problems of the economic downturn.

Measuring small?

Hi, I was measuring 25 weeks when I was 28 weeks. No weight gain here either. I've now been in the hospital for 2 weeks getting daily sonograms. I will have another "weight" scan next week to see if she's growing. I also have no fluid which could be the cause of the growth restriction. I really wouldn't worry to much if I were you because my doctors goal is to get me to 34 weeks pregnant and then deliver and you're already there so if anythings wrong they can deliver your baby without her being in any danger. I'm in one of the top hospitals in the country for premature birth and was told by my proffesor/doctor that even if they have to deliver at 32 weeks my baby has the survival chance of a full term baby, she'll just be really small. I hope I didn't scare you and try not to worry, worst case scenario will be that you have a christmas baby!!

Help convincing my mom to get a dog + a bit of drama :/?

My mom hates animals, because of the up-keep + finances (we're not low-income at all though). However, I take care of our current animals (kitty + tarantula). I LOVE animals. I need them really. I'm going through one of the most difficult periods of my life. I have severe OCD. I literally cannot function in the real world, where stress is involved (i.e. school and work). Applying for disability, until my condition is at the level where I am able to deal with it, then I will get off. I have to live with my mother, because of it. Problems with milk!!?

ok so my baby is 9 weeks old now and i am tryin to exclusively give milk to him. the doctor put him on formula suppliment because he was really small still but he seems to be allergic after 5 days of havin it) so now im just trying to feed him and pump to suppliment him with that but my milk supply seems very low. he'll nurse for a loooong time and come off unsatisfied. so then i'll pump in the morning and also pump in between feedings, and after feedings and at night after hes asleep (so nursing or pumping 8times a day). and my supply is very low..like 1.5 - 2 oz for 30mins of pumping..what do i do?? it wasnt like this before!!!

I have the same issues. I'm staying home now because I have a 4 yr old, a 2 yr old with special needs and a 1 yr old. It's hard, we make just enough to not qualify for any istance. My 4 yr old can't even go to pre-kinder because we make to much, but after taxes we barely make enough to eat. Daycare and gas would kill us if I tried to work. Just ignore him and try to make it through the day. I've started cutting corners where I can when it comes to making stuff on my own and just taking the kids to the park and swimming pool ie: free activities just so they're not bored.

I am trying to install my Shackle Reversal Kit on my 1995 F350. I got the pitman puller to remove the pitman arm off the steering gearbox, and that worked dandy. But now I have to get the drag link off the lower end of the pitman arm. How do I do this?

Need help with ice fishing techniques!?

im new to ice fishing and have fished on about 2 ponds. and i have had absolutely no luck! i have not had one bite in about two days. and im fishing on a fairly small pond so its not like they can be to far. ive fished the sides, middle, just about everywhere i can think of. the water is only about 8 feet in the deepest parts. and even with an aqua vu fish camera i still have not even seen a fish approach my lure, or a fish period. and i know there are tons of fish in there because i fish there all summer. what could i be doing wrong!?! i have a small ice fishing pole, and i dont want to use tip ups because i find that extremely boring i want a pole in my hand. i have bunch of jigs, and tons of other ice fishing lures. the line is not visible to fish, and i am using berkley maggots. what am i doing wrong!?! what areas should i be targeting? fallen trees? or the deepest parts of the pond? the fish that are in the pond include b, catfish, panfish, and odly enough a few coi. so what can i do!?!? i am realy desperate because i dont want to have cabin fever like i normaly do every year.

I think that's a lot of exercise to do every day... it's good to be active, but maybe stick to around 1-2 hours of activity a day. Eating around 1200 calories a day is a good plan, especially if you make sure you are getting all of your nutrients and enough protein (meat, nuts, eggs)... but you aren't going to lose that much weight that quickly. You'll lose 0.5-2 pounds per week. So considering August 12th is about six weeks away, the absolute most you can healthily lose is 12 pounds. there's really no "best" school for anything. it all depends on what you're looking for in a school (how much you want to pay, location, environment, etc.) My best advice is to find a school with a strong biology program, and then check out the types of cles and programs they offer. (most schools will not offer a zoology or an animal behavior major, they might however, offer a concentration in these areas) the school i go to for example offers a biology degree with a concentration in animal behavior. the main purpose of this is to give you a thorough understanding of biology, while preparing you for graduate studies in animal behavior. hope that helps a little

Long cycle question...when to test?

This month I was on Clomid 100mg (1st month on this dosage, last month 50mg no ovulation). My cycles since going off the pill have been 31-32 days long. Last month I had a 35 day cycle and the first day of my last period was April 10th. I got a positive on an OPK on the 28th (day 19) and my bloodwork showed my progesterone level at a 9.
